Hi! I’m Chris. I’m an intellectually curious data scientist who is driven by having a strong sense of purpose in my work.
I love strategic thinking, learning and applying new digital tools, and mentoring early career professionals. I’m grateful that Data for Humans gives me the chance to exercise all of those skills in service to organizations with important missions. I’m also employed as a data scientist in the public sector.
I was born and raised in Iowa City, but I have called Minnesota my home since attending Saint Olaf College and then the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities for graduate studies. Currently, I live in Southeastern Minnesota with my wife and young son.
For those like me who are interested in personality profiles, my Myers-Briggs type is INFP, and my top five Strengthsfinder characteristics are Strategic, Empathy, Intellection, Developer, Learner.
